Are you interested in orienting visitors from all over the world as they visit this iconic landmark? Would you enjoy engaging diverse audiences as you help them to connect with the story of the Golden Gate Bridge and the surrounding Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) lands? Are you passionate about public speaking, customer service, and creating future stewards for all of the GGNRA? If so, this volunteer opportunity is for you!
Join our dynamic team and help us build a strong community of local and international visitors who connect to the various GGNRA sites through programming to gain a deeper understanding of the Golden Gate Bridge’s role in American history and their own lives. Volunteers will provide efficient, courteous services and helpful information to park visitors. This involves ensuring visitor safety, and enhancing public speaking skills. The Volunteer’s primary responsibilities will be to provide orientation and information to visitors as they arrive at the site, rove the site, and give visitors information about other parklands.
