On-Call Disaster Responder

PURPOSE
Respond to local disasters that happen everyday. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with team members and provide immediate Red Cross services to those affected by home fires and floods.

TIME COMMITMENT

At least two days per month (minimum of two 24hour on-call shifts per month). Six month to one year minimum commitment.

REQUIRED TRAINING (provided)

  • Region/Chapter Volunteer Orientation
  • Disaster Services: An Overview (modules one and two)
