The Tucson Celtic Festival Association, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) is seeking volunteers for the 30 th Annual Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games, November 4 - 6, 2016, at Rillito Raceway Park, 4502 N. First Ave, Tucson, Arizona, 85718.
The TCFA is a volunteer based organization and relies on the hard work and dedication of the community to help bring this festival to the Old Pueblo. Volunteers who work a minimum of four hours will receive free admission to one day of the festival and a t-shirt.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities like set up and tear down before and after the event beginning on Thursday, November 3 running through Monday, November 7. Duties will include dance stage assembly, setting up tables & chairs, organizing festival booths and supplies and more. Help is also needed during the 2 ½ day festival with jobs like assisting at the will call or information booths, helping with the Youth Highland Games, checking IDs (training required, must be 21 and over), dance & piping competition areas and much more.

Description
The Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games is an annual event in the Old Pueblo. Going on its 37th year, the festival relies on the hard work of volunteers to bring Celtic culture and traditions to Tucson. The festival features Celtic musical guests, bagpipers, Irish and Scottish Highland Dancers, children's activities, an array of Celtic merchants and eateries, athletes competing in events like the caber toss, educational workshops, seminars, Clan booths and much more.
