About the Conference: IN the Neighborhood Conference was started in 2014 by a coalition of neighborhood associations, grassroots community organizations and civic and business leaders. This group wanted to establish an event that showcases the Greater Omaha Metropolitan Area’s neighborhood development and community engagement, give its residents an opportunity to meet, connect & learn and celebrate their important role in creating a stronger, healthier metropolitan community.
