About

My Neighborhood Mobile Grocery (MNMG) is a nutritionally focused, mobile grocery retail model that provides people with low access to affordable, healthy foods with a new and innovative shopping option within their communities. Offering a limited, competitively priced product mix that balances client choice with nutritional products, educational programming, and free food give-a-ways to incentivize increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, MNMG extends the purchasing power of shoppers.

Greeters (2 needed) - Greet shoppers as they arrive. Distribute shopping lists and explain the ordering process. Manage the queueing line of shoppers as they review products on the display table and wait to place their order. Indoor setting.

Order Takers (2 needed) - Using a computer, volunteers will enter the grocery order and take payment. Volunteers should be extremely comfortable reading smaller print, using a computer and making change. Indoor setting.

Order Fillers (3-4 needed) - Work on pulling the customers’ orders from mobile grocery racks and the back of a Gleaners truck. Orders will be double checked as they are bagged or boxed for the customers.

Customer Satisfaction Surveyor (1 needed) - Administer Customer Satisfaction Survey to shoppers. Outdoor setting under a tent.
