ORGANIZATION: Thomas House Temporary Shelter

Purpose: Thomas House’s goal is to lift families from homelessness and instability to independence and self-sufficiency. Our Children’s Program currently enriches the lives of over 40 homeless and low-income students. To promote positive youth development, we work with children to help them meet program goals of increasing academic achievement and decreasing at-risk behavior. Thomas House provides opportunities for advancement through tutoring, homework assistance, arts & crafts, music lessons, recreation activities, field trips, etc.

In need of: We need tutors who are proficient in any of the following areas (Geometry and Algebra II).
