NWABA is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides programming to more than 1,300 individuals of all ages and ability levels with visual impairments in WA, OR, MT, and ID. The mission of NWABA is to provide life-changing opportunities through sports and physical activity to individuals who are blind and visually impaired.
Currently we are seeking a person who would like to walk/run 2-3 times a week in the Greater Portland area with one of our athletes who is visually impaired. We provide training and facilitation of the partnership. Running experience is needed, however, you do not need to be a professional. After the intial meeting you and your running partner will designate meeting times and training sessions together.
