As an attorney, you have the skills that can significantly affect the lives of those in need while breaking down the barriers to justice people often face.
When you volunteer on our free legal hotline, you will find an easy and rewarding way to help others while building your skills as an attorney.
You will have the opportunity to use our cutting-edge technology to help our clients find solutions to the common legal problems they often face - including family law, consumer debt and landlord-tenant issues.
We provide training (with CLE credit) and malpractice insurance. A CARPLS supervising attorney is always available to assist our volunteers.

Description
We are Cook County's largest provider of free legal services and are focused on ensuring access to justice for all. Each year, our staff and volunteer attorneys help more than 50,000 low- and moderate-income individuals find solutions to their common legal problems via our free legal hotline and four court-based advice desks. We cover a wide variety of issues from Adoption to Zoning.
