Hi and thank you for your interest in supporting the Quincy Animal Shelter fundraising activities. We are a no-kill shleter that rely nearly 100% on the support of our Volunteers!
Our 8th Annual Cause 4 paws will be on 10/16/16 in Squantum point park in Marina Bay Quincy Ma. A 1 mile walk from the North Quincy train station.
Our biggest needs are for volunteers that help with directions, both in directing folks into Sqauntum point park , cheering along the race course, directing folks in the parking area , and providing general information for participants.
We ask that you confirm your participation ahead of time so that we can arrange name tags. Check in at the QAS volunteer table at Squantum Point Park the day of the event , ideally by 8 am.
We support community service requirements for the local schools. Bring along your paperework for us to verify and sign.
There are a additional activities where we need help on evenings before the event and the day before. Please email your intereste and availability.

Description
All animals at Quincy Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for common diseases (heartworm, etc.) and up-to-date on vaccinations. We always needs volunteers to walk dogs, feed cats, clean kennels and cat cages, help with laundry and dishes, administrative and fund-raising.
