During the entire month of November, the school children of El Hato attend a summer session in which Las Manos de Christine continues to provide english classes, resources, and with the help of volunteers, our Expresión Artística Program, in which students learn skills not typically taught in the classroom. Classes can range from origami, music, art, yoga, tennis etc. depending on the skills of our volunteers.

Mission Statement
Las Manos provides English programs, resources, and trained teachers to non-profits and other groups who work with underprivileged children in an educational capacity. Tailored English programs are designed by education professionals, each class is assigned a permanent, trained and experienced instructor, volunteers are integrated into the program to give direct assistance to individuals and the classes are taught with the latest teaching methods and using the most effective resources available.
