Are you able to speak Urdu, Hindi and/or Gujarati?
Older Adults and Seniors can use your help! You will work with a Kenneth Young Center clinician or therapist and their clients. Primary tasks include calling clients to see if they have any questions, concerns, or suggestions on their experience with Kenneth Young Center. If you possess solid organizational and communication skills, are comfortable speaking on the phone, and if you are comfortable working with the Microsoft Office suite of programs, then please contact us. You should be willing to spend 2-3 hours a week. WE ARE FLEXIBLE in SCHEDULING! You will know that your efforts are helping us to serve a diverse community with needs that continue to grow. Volunteers are our backbone. Help us remain strong.
[ Kenneth Young Center has provided community and mental health services to the Northwest Suburbs for over 40 years. Deep state- and federal-funding budget cuts did not stop us from providing much needed services to over 25,000 children, adults, and seniors. Part of our success factor is the fact we are blessed with volunteers who help us achieve our mission goal of "helping people feel good, do better and find solutions."]

"We help people feel good, do better and find solutions." Kenneth Young Center is a safety net for our neighbors in need. We respectfully serve the most vulnerable people in our area, those coping with mental illness and older adults dealing with life's difficult transitions.
Description
Behavioral health and older adult services serving Elk Grove and Schaumburg Townships and the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. For almost 50 years, we have served the most vulnerable populations. We provide counseling, intervention and family support services.
