Volunteers are invited to participate in Broward Children's Center's 14th Annual Walk & Family Festival. Volunteers are needed to help decorate,register participants, distribute t-shirts & walk bags, serve food and beverages, assist with games & activities, act as Smile Ambassadors & Race Time Keepers, assist at water stations and help set up and clean-up the event. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and will be required to complete an Event Information Form. A written orientation will be sent to each volunteer a week prior to the event. Free parking & breakfast served to all volunteers. Service hours available for student. Ideal team building activity for organizations.

Since 1971, Broward Children's Center has provided quality programs to infants, children, and young adults with special health care needs. The Center provides a wide range of direct care, support, and quality of life advocacy services for these children and their families. Our services include: Preschools for typically developing and special needs children, Education for children who are medically complex, Rehabilitation, Medical Transportation; Licensed home health care; In-home and facility based respite care; Before & After School Programs; Physical, occupational, and speech and language therapy; Counseling, Pediatric Extended care, Group Homes, and Diaphragmatic Pacing System Implementation and Rehabilitation
