Mother-Daughter Journey to Forgiveness - NYT
A film about emotional abuse and whether it is forgivable.

Kirschenbaum Productions has released a feature documentary called LOOK AT US NOW, MOTHER! The mission of this film and our movement LOOK AT US NOW, WORLD! is to help others who are suffering due to childhood abuse and teach people forgiveness and helping them heal. Our movement consists of a large audience engagement and outreach component along with other initiatives.

We are seeking someone who is experienced in grant research and writing. Preferably someone who comes from the non-profit sector and has worked in development.

Mission Statement

BUILDING A MOVEMENT FOCUSED ON FORGIVENESS

It is now our company's mission to use the film as the centerpiece of a global outreach movement focused on forgiveness and healing between mothers and daughters. We are using our festival screenings to launch the campaign and reach women's groups, mental health organizations, faith based organization such as Jewish Community Centers and churches.

PARTNERSHIPS

We are building partnerships and planning community screenings and discussions with organizations and universities. Working with educational field we are developing discussion kit for other educators to use in the field.

ABOUT US

Kirschenbaum Productions is an Emmy award-winning boutique production and educational company. We are storytellers whose work focuses on people, and have been featured widely in the media. We have just completed a personal feature documentary called LOOK AT US NOW, MOTHER! about a highly charged mother/daughter relationship and its transformation from hatred to love. It's the filmmaker's own story. It's about forgiveness.
