We are seeking long (18 months) and short (2-3 months) term puppy raisers. The long term raisers would be raising and training greater Swiss mountain dog puppies for balance assist. The short term raisers would be training adult rescue dogs for use as PTSD dogs.
BASK provides food, vet care, training. Raiser provides treats, a crate and a stabile and loving environment to learn in.
Raisers would need to be able to take thier pup to work, work from home, or be a stay at home or retired person. We love kids, cats and other dogs in the home. Raisers would be expected to attend class each week at Alpha Dog K9 Training in Medway, Ma, as well as take your pup to age appropriate places in public.

BASK raises and trains service dogs for balance assist dogs for those who need them and PTSD dogs for military and first responders in the Massachusetts area. We furnish dogs to our clients at no cost to them. For that reason, we are an entirely volunteer foundation.
