Mission Statement

"To help educate the members of the community we serve and to contribute to the development and growth of the communities".

Description

Christ for the Poor is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation founded as an international poverty relief and educational organization and our principal goal is, to create sustainable direct-service projects that would provide vocational skills to at-risk populations in South America and the Caribbean.

The main focus of Christ for the Poor is to make people aware that a change must occur. Christ for the Poor started its ministry among the poor with humility by accepting God's will and accepting the challenge to change them. The process of transformation can begin in earnest. When we, ourselves, listen to God's words -mercy, healing and compassion and listen the voice of God's whispering in our soul then we embark in a great adventure as ambassadors for humanity.

Currently, Christ for the Poor is developing the Christ for the Poor's Institute.

The institute is focused on the training of young adolescents (men and women) and, to teach them Carpentry, Cosmetology, Electricity and, Art and Crafts from recyclable items of the garbage dump-site.

The goal of Christ for the Poor is to continue to make a difference and to provide vocational training as a way to empower the residents of the communities.
