Adoption Event Representatives

ORGANIZATION: MoKan Greyhound Adoption

A Typical Adoption Event Day
This is what a typical adoption event looks like.

We are always looking for help showcasing our adoptable dogs at about 4 adoption events a month all over Kansas City. The shifts for these events often range from 2 hours to 4 hours. Adoption Event Representatives do not have to own their own Greyhound in order to help out. We can always find a dog for people to hold. It does require being strong enough to hold a 60 to 80 pound dog on leash and the ability to speak to the public (we will provide talking points and mentor volunteers).
