The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer relies on our volunteers to help create a fantastic and safe experience for our event participants and to support the fight against breast cancer. By giving your time, you are helping save lives and create more birthdays.

You will be one of several volunteers working at one of our three water stops along the route. You will help in setting up the water station, pouring and offering water to our walk participants, ensuring water cups are composted, discarding trash, bagging empty water containers, and replacing toilet paper in the portable bathrooms. Assistance will also be needed in dismantling the water station and packaging extra supplies. We need volunteers who have the stamina to hand out water and stand for several hours without tiring. The water station volunteers witness thousands of participants pass by and serve as a great resource for not only refreshment, but encouragement for our many participants.
