Our mission: The Veterans Legal Institute (VLI) provides pro bono legal assistance to homeless, at risk, disabled and low income current and former service members to eradicate barriers to housing, healthcare, education, and employment and foster self-sufficiency.
VLI needs volunteer attorneys to take on individual cases as well as to staff clinics providing legal services to our client population. We distribute a case list to our volunteer attorneys, organized by legal issue with summary information, to help pro bono attorneys find possible cases that match their availability.
Location: Our office in Santa Ana, clinics around Orange County and Long Beach
Time commitment: VLI will arrange a flexible schedule that matches your needs
Qualifications: Must be currently licensed to practice law in California
Please watch some of the following video testimonials to get a sense of just how much difference the work our volunteer attorneys do can make in the lives of veterans.
