Do you enjoy running or walking?
Do you believe in the benefits of running and walking?
Freedom House is looking to recruit volunteers for their 5K Run and Walk committee.
The event will take place May 11 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, but the planning is beginning NOW!
Committee volunteers will focus on the following:
*Building runner/walker participation
*Identifying and securing sponsors and vendor tables
*Helping with general marketing of the event
*When needed assist staff picking up donated items
*Be on site the day of the event to participate and volunteer
Meetings are held via conference call

Description
Freedom House is a small group of professional and dedicated staff doing great things with limited resources but unlimited commitment, passion, and perseverance. Freedom House was founded over 30 years ago as one halfway house facility offering recovery services for men. Today we have grown to include long-term residential treatment, transitional living programs, and outpatient services. We have facilities in Glen Gardner, Clinton, Trenton, Morristown, and Phillipsburg. Together it constitutes the full spectrum of care recovering people need - but as heroic as it is, we are able to help only a fraction of the people who need us most in the state of New Jersey. We are continuously looking to grow more and do more to save more lives and reunite more families. We need your help!
