GIVE BACK FILL THE GAP. ReServe redefines a career arc for persons age 55+ to include skill based volunteering 10-20 hours a week with a stipend in the nonprofit sector. ReServe matches experienced professionals seeking to give back to their communities with local nonprofits in DC, MD, and VA to help them carry out their missions and to have a social impact.
ReServe is currently seeking Executive Assistants to support a number of nonprofits in the DC Metropolitan area. Executive Assistants perform administrative duties for executive management. Responsibilities may include screening calls; managing calendars; making travel, meeting and event arrangements; preparing reports and financial data; training and supervising other support staff; and customer relations. Requires strong computer and Internet research skills, flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience, and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside clients and vendors. Sensitivity to confidential matters may be required.

ReServists can do great things for their communities while they put their professional expertise to work on part-time service projects, in exchange for a modest hourly stipend.
Description
ReServists provide direct services, administrative support, and capacity-building expertise in schools, social service agencies, cultural institutions, and public agencies. Many use their experience with ReServe to launch new careers in the nonprofit sector.
ReServe is supported by private and public grants and individual donations. The ReServist stipend is paid by the employers, who also pay a small program fee.
ReServe(r) is a subsidiary of Fedcap(r).
