Project Bro Bro a 5013C Mentoring Organization

We are looking for committed volunteers who want to assist our boys of color with tutoring on designated Saturdays. PBB is an intentional 5013C Non Profit Organization. We are helping under served communities of males become their greatest in this insane world. If you want to be a part of the solution and are nurturing and want to be a change agent PBB can use you.

Must have time on designated Saturdays for 3 hour tutoring sessions. In addition we need to monitor and mentor the youth 24/7 with weekly checkin's to help them along the way in their journey to graduation from high school.

We seek caring yet nurturing individuals to assist males of color with achievement academically within their 360 circle. Our motto is it takes a village to raise a child. With the alarming statistics of high school drop for males of color Project Bro Bro is committed to assist these boys ACHIEVE!

In addition our mentors provide weekly check in's via mentoring with individual men-tees to see how their week is doing and to find out if other support services are required from PBB. We require a background checks we provide training for our Mentors.

Description

Project Bro Bro was created to assist in 5 major challenges with adolescent males of color to 1) Increase the High School Graduation Rage 2) Lower the Suspension Rates in High Schools 3)Prevent Incarcertion 4) Provide caring support through mentorship and advocacy 5) Help heal community trauma. The intention is to provided one on one mentoring through the 360 approach which includes home, community, school and outside areas of a adolescents life. PBB makes a difference one youth at a time. Be a change Agent with PBB!
