GIVE BACK FILL THE GAP. ReServe redefines a career arc for persons age 55+ to include skill based volunteering 10-20 hours a week with a stipend in the nonprofit sector. ReServe matches experienced professionals seeking to give back to their communities with local nonprofits in DC, MD, and VA to help them carry out their missions and to have a social impact.
ReServe is currently seeking Communication and Marketing Associates to help a number of nonprofits in the Metropolitan DC area. The Communications and Marketing Associate is responsible for coordinating the communications output within a company. Creates and delivers emails, direct mail, brochures, newsletters, and other publications. The primary responsibilities are to: Create company literature and other forms of communication; Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic; Work with advertisers for timely and useable ad submissions, Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications; Design and launch email marketing campaigns; promote products and services through public relations initiatives. Develop marketing communicationscampaigns. Create and deliver press releases, media relations content; Develop fresh story ideas. Conduct extensive media outreach. Coordinate press interviews.

ReServists can do great things for their communities while they put their professional expertise to work on part-time service projects, in exchange for a modest hourly stipend.
Description
ReServists provide direct services, administrative support, and capacity-building expertise in schools, social service agencies, cultural institutions, and public agencies. Many use their experience with ReServe to launch new careers in the nonprofit sector.
ReServe is supported by private and public grants and individual donations. The ReServist stipend is paid by the employers, who also pay a small program fee.
ReServe(r) is a subsidiary of Fedcap(r).
