NAMI (National Alliancce on Mental Illness) Mercer
Helpline - Volunteers take calls from people with questions about mental illness and, using our resources, suggest options to the caller. Training required and provided.
Skills: patience, compassionate listening, ability to identify the callers’ problems and give them the information they need.
Intermediate or above skills with MS Office.
Frequency: at least one shift per week on a regular schedule, 3.5 hours per shift, daytime hours
