The Mount Baker Middle Schools Boys & Girls Club is in need of volunteers to help with their Power Hour. Power Hour is a time for the students, especially those who need it most, to get homework help they might not find anywhere else. The Power Hour materials provide practical tips and best practices for recognition and incentives, behavior management, volunteer recruitment and training, collaboration with other organizations and use of technology and the Internet.

Whether you are good at math, enjoy history, or love to read, there is always a place where your help is needed.

Power Hour is from 2:30-3:30 pm every Monday through Thursday.

Description

We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities and are always looking for community members who want to share their special skills and knowledge with our youth. Whether you have a week, a month, or a year to volunteer, we will work with you to develop a schedule and ensure that you get the most out of your volunteer experience.

Volunteers play an integral part in fulfilling our mission and core belief. Help support and encourage the youth in our community by serving at any of our Clubs!
