ELEMENTARY CREW LEADER - You are the light and love of Christ as you lead a small group (6-10) elementary age children (Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4 or Grades 5-6) to their various activities. You provide encouragement, direction and guidance helping your crew with the various activities.

ASSISTANT ELEMENTARY CREW LEADER - Same as above but you are helping the Crew Leader. (Primarily a position held by youth)

PREK-K CREW LEADER - You are the light and love of Christ as you lead a small group (6-10) who are about to enter or just completed Kindergarten to their various activities. You provide encouragement, direction and guidance helping your crew with the various activities.

ASSISTANT PREK-K CREW LEADER- Same as above but you are helping the Crew Leader. (Primarily a position held by youth)

BIBLE TEACHER - This is a great opportunity to engage the students in the daily lesson for 40 minutes. Materials are provided. We have Bible Classes for PreK-K, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6. You will be given a classroom space. If a particular Grade is too large we will divide them in half and teach the lesson twice each morning.

CRAFTS - craft leaders for Elementary and PreK-K, if you are passionate about crafts and want to assist. This is the place for you.

RECREATION - All of our games are connected to the daily Bible themes. Lead the children through 20 minutes of games and help them run off some of that VBS energy.

MUSIC - Music is an important part of VBS. The students are singing in the opening and closing gatherings and have a special music time during the morning.

SPORTS CREW - to develop in players a positive image of themselves, their teammates, coaches, game officials, and opponents, and provide a good role model for young players.

KITCHEN CREW - This team of volunteers put together the mid morning refreshment for our students. Rumor has it they have lots of fun working together in the kitchen.

TINY TOTS CREW - Be the light of Christ to our youngest VBS participants (ages 2-3). These are the children of our volunteers.

NURSERY - This is a vital ministry that allows some of our moms with very young children to be involved in VBS. Be the light of Christ by providing child care to the children (under the age of 2) of our volunteers throughout the morning.

REGISTRATION/DAILY CHECK-IN - You are often the first person seen by parents and children coming to VBS. This starts at 8:30 am and is usually done by 9:30. It is the perfect job for someone who cannot stay all morning. Many hands make this job go well and gets the children ready for an exciting time at VBS.

Please note: All Children’s Ministry workers are required to submit paperwork for a background check before volunteering with VBS.
