We are just partnering with an organization that is dedicated to helping reconnect the homeless with their families thus getting them off the streets and into safer and loving environments.
I am looking for a team of people who can work virtually doing outreach and handling social media, PLUS assisting with newsletters.
PLUS, if you live local to Hollywood even better as I will need someone onsite to assist me with production of a couple of our events this year.
Skills required- MS Office, Excel, Word, and must have a working smart phone with access to Facetime or Skype.
- Adobe Premeire Pro BONUS but not required
- Wix or web design a Bonus but not required
Most of our communication is done through email. We prefer someone who can follow written instruction to the letter. Attention to detail is criticial. We once had an intern post a buzzfeed article and listed our name as Meals on Maxx. We'd like to avoid things like this please.
Personality wise- must be thick skinned as you will be working among some of the cities homeless who have been through tough times, while also showing empathy, but not pity.
Pleasant demeanor, upbeat, and kind.
If you attend meetings or help onsite, being punctual is important as we are often at the mercy of the shelter's schedules.
