Aquathon will be held at the grassy picnic area at Leadbetter Beach, in front of the swim bouys.
All volunteers will receive an event shirt, a raffle ticket, and free parking for their time.
Channelkeeper's second annual Santa Barbara AQUATHON will take place on September 30th at Leadbetter Beach from 8 am-12 noon! This multi-sport fundraiser will be a fun, family-friendly celebration of clean, swimmable water, and everyone is invited to dive in! The event will include a Surfathon for kids 14 years and under; a 500-meter and 1K Swimathon for serious swimmers, training triathletes, and recreational swimmers; and a 5K SUP race around a charted course.
We are looking for volunteers to help with set up, registration, vendor/merchandise tables, the water events, and cleanup. Volunteer shifts can be from only 2 hours to 4 hours. Cheers to clean water!
