LIGHTFEST 2019 is celebrating We Survive's 25th anniversary. The LIGHTFEST
Station is a very SPECIAL Day of HOPE, held from 5:30-7:30pm. The goal of a
Day of Hope is to improve the lives of impoverished children and their
families. This event will provide fun interactive educational health and
wellness activities. All activities will encourage positive peer
interactions and will distribute general health and wellness information
to help foster emotional well-being. When approaching the topic of
poverty, we see and hear the feelings of hopelessness. Collective
hopelessness is not acceptable. At 7pm Eastern Time we will all step
outside and display a Light of Hope symbolizing that with a unified
effort we can all provide the Light of Hope that will improve
impoverished lives.
