We are honored to be back at Arlington National Cemetery Getting Nuts for Clean Water at our second Growing Native event of the season!
Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome to help collect acorns and other native tree seeds in this important national site and home of three of the nation's newest champion trees! You don’t have to be a tree expert to participate, we’ll show you what to look for.
These seeds will go to local nurseries that grow trees for reforesting efforts across the region. Not only will you be creating forests for tomorrow, you will also learn more about the important connection between healthy, forested lands and clean waters.
