The Child, Family and Staff Support Services Volunteer will provide a variety of invaluable support and assistance services to children and families that are clients of Arapahoe County Child Protection. The position will be located in our office but may also require some travel throughout the metro area. Position Duties Include but are not limited to:
Provide temporary care and support for children that have just been removed from an unsafe situation, this would be done in the Child Protection Office.
Provide temporary care and support for children while caregivers attend important meetings at the department.
Provide administrative support and assistance to child protection staff
Help transport children to and from visitations with their parents at the Child Protection Office
Maintain and clean the parenting time rooms utilized by families for parenting time visits
Collect, sort organize and distribute valuable community donations that are given to children and families in need of emergency clothing, diapers, toiletries and more.
Provide assistance and help with parenting time groups and the parenting time program.

Requirements & Commitment
- Driver's License Needed
- Background Check
- Must be at least 21
- Orientation or Training
- 6 months
- Must commit to one 8 hour shift a week (Monday-Friday between 10:00am and 6:00pm)
