The Arc of Greater Tarrant County was founded in 1949. We are in the process of archiving our rich history and cataloging the historic milestones of The Arc, its impact and our organizations impact on civil rights and social justice over the last 67 years. We are seeking those with an interest in the history and that no doubt will lead to fascinating discoveries and exploration. University students this is the perfect semester project! History buffs and policy wonks, you would be in public policy heaven documenting the advancements and setbacks in disability rights over the last six centuries.
