Description: Share your love of reading with those who are blind, visually impaired or print disabled! Seeking dedicated volunteers to review our audiobook recordings for errors. This position involves listening to the recording of an audiobook and making note of contextual errors or possible word mispronunciations. The monitor is supplied with an audio copy of the recording, a print copy of the book to follow along in, as well as a log sheet to mark the page number and time in the recording when the error occurs. Our engineers use this information to go back and re-record any mistakes in our studios.

Requirements:
* Adult (18+ Years)
* Must be able to stay focused on this detail-oriented work
* Must possess a positive attitude and the patience it takes to monitor an audiobook
* Strong reading comprehension and language skills are necessary

Time Commitment: 3 to 5 hours/week

Training: Upon acceptance to the program, training will be provided remotely or in our studios at the Central Library Building in downtown Milwaukee.

Location: At your home or in our office in the Central Library Building in downtown Milwaukee.
