Extra Life unites thousands of players around the world in a 24 hour gaming marathon to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Since its inception in 2008, Extra Life has raised more than $14 million for local CMN hospitals.

The purpose and responsibility of an Extra Life Guild is to recruit participants to support their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital through Extra Life. Guild Leadership consists of a President, Vice President and Secretary. The responsibilities of each position are:

It is up to the President to insure the Guild keeps its recruitment focus at all times while encouraging the general membership to participate in the process, local recruitment events, and the national Extra Life movement. The President is also responsible for supporting the other members of the Guild Leadership should they require assistance with their projects or responsibilities.

All three leadership positions have the shared responsibility of scheduling and coordinating recruitment opportunities for the Guild with the goal of securing three to five new recruitment opportunities each. The Vice President will then be responsible for the logistics and organization of the events.
