Hearth Homes is a long-term transitional housing shelter located in Spokane Valley that provides homeless women and their children with a safe, loving environment as they move forward in their lives. Our organization relies on many community partners and volunteers for support! We are in need of a volunteer who can pick-up food from a Feed Spokane pantry on Monday mornings. Food from this drive goes towards supplementing our Family dinner program which is imperative to building healthy routines and relationships.

Position Summary: This volunteer opportunity entails driving to a Feed Spokane location near Altamont and Sprague on Monday mornings at 11:30. Volunteer will then select food and bring it back to Hearth Homes; located in Spokane Valley off Broadway. It often works best to have two people to select and load items.

This position is critical to providing our families with balanced meals and nutrition!
