Are you looking for a way to make a real difference in the lives of adults with disabilities in your community? Maybe you're looking for an opportunity to share your favorite hobbies, interests, or skills with a new friend. Whether you're providing companionship, playing a game, working on crafts, watching sports together, or helping with home improvements, the Adopt-a-Home program at Emmaus is an opportunity that will leave a lasting impression on both you and the individual(s) you are spending time with.
Time commitments vary and are flexible; however, we do ask that you commit to meeting on an ongoing basis, whether that is weekly, monthly, or a few times a year.
Adopt-a-Home is a great volunteer opportunity for:
- School groups & students
- Community service clubs
- Churches
- Families
- Senior citizens/retirees
- ...you!
Emmaus serves adults with developmental disabilities throughout the St. Louis area. If interested in "adopting" one of our community homes, please contact us today!
