Walk to End Alzheimer's

Join us on Sunday, September 16th at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk as a Walk Day Volunteer! The Walk to End Alzheimer's is our biggest annual fundraiser and every step we take together brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer's. Come interact with community volunteers and hundreds of walkers of all ages at this morning of inspiration and hope.

A number of volunteer opportunities are available, from registering walkers to passing out food and drinks. Want to walk too? No problem! We have plenty of openings that accommodate volunteering and walking for the cause. Hope to see you there!

The Alzheimer’s Association’s mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s Disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Description

The Connecticut Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association depends on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. We have a variety of opportunities to offer volunteers throughout the state of Connecticut. Volunteers help us run special events, work in our offices, deliver education and programs, act as advocates and speakers in the community, staff our helplines and run Support Groups, as examples. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic members of our team without whom we could not work towards an end to the Alzheimer's disease.
