Hospice seeking Office Management Assistance!

At Kindred Hospice we provide Compassionate Care for patients and families coping with end-of-life journeys.
Including volunteers in this process guarantees that we can provide even better and more encompassing support, surrounding each of our patients with the care and compassion they need during a difficult time.
The Administrative Volunteer provides support to office personnel through assistance with activities such as answering telephones, filing, making copies, or helping to create admissions packets. An Administrative Volunteer might help with compiling and mailing Bereavement letters, sympathy cards or the planning of the Annual Memorial Service. An Administrative Volunteer might also assist with data entry and making Tuck-In phone calls to patients, families and caregivers prior to the weekend.
This opportunity can be great for a college student, retiree, or anyone wanting to gain experience within the office. We look for volunteers with excellent computer skills, attention to detail and organizational ability. We are happy to train volunteers, and flexible about which day of the week our volunteers are available.
Our office is open between 8am and 5pm on weekdays. We're looking for volunteers who could make a commitment of a full year, for a minimum of 2 hours/week. We are most in need of volunteers on Mondays, Wednesday afternoons or Thursdays. All volunteer positions require a fingerprinting background check, and a drug screen - paid for by Kindred.
We'll work with your schedule.
