We're looking for a highly creative and motivated communications ninja for STEMed Labs. In this role, you'll have the ability to propose and evaluate your novel ideas to make a positive impact in the lives of youth. If you're an out-of-thebox thinker that loves to craft content, design newsletters, and engage users on social media, we'd love to meet you!
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
- Social media development (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
- Developing newsletter content
- Drafting website copy that helps tell our story
Qualifications:
- Ability to meet at our Capital Factory office
- Previous experience with content development, social media, etc. (links to previous projects a plus)
- Strong writing skills
- Punctuality and professionalism
- The ability to hit deadlines as agreed upon
- A "get it done" attitude

STEMed Labs is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Austin, TX dedicated to improving educational opportunities in our communities. Our goal is to serve as an incubator for novel, cross-disciplinary approaches to STEM education. We partner with schools, teachers, parents, and industry to build a sustainable, grassroots model of delivering innovation in education.
