Wesley House has an exciting opportunity for Board membership! We are currently sourcing applicants who hold an MSW or LCSW. Wesley House Student Residence is the only nonprofit organization providing affordable supportive housing serving low-income and systemically marginalized students attending college or university in San Diego County. In addition to housing, we provide an onsite food pantry, targeted monthly programs, and individualized wraparound support services. Our mission is to assist the student residents of Wesley House in their academic goals at college or university by providing a safe place to live and study. We provide a network of support services for students that foster a greater sense of accomplishment, self-esteem, and community and belonging; better preparing them to advocate for themselves and to contribute to society. Our vision is to provide equal access to quality housing and support for college and university students so they may succeed in college while facing life challenges.
Wesley House a nonprofit 501c(3) organization operating the only affordable supportive housing complex serving low-income and systemically marginalized college students in San Diego County. Our student residents face additional challenges such as experiencing homelessness, being formerly incarcerated, aging out of the foster care system, and/or being the first generation in their family to attend college. We currently have one location with 11 units serving 34 student residents. In addition to housing we offer an onsite food pantry, targeted monthly programs, and individualized wraparound support services. Please reach out to us to learn more!
