Foxhollow Farm & Maryhurst Foxhollow Farm's Fall Festival
Volunteers Needed
on Saturday, October 8th!
Foxhollow Farm is excited to host our 9th Annual Fall Festival, a fun-filled celebration of autumn that has become a favorite for families throughout the Kentuckiana area.
The event will take place on
Saturday, October 8, 2016
10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
All volunteers receive a
Free Foxhollow Farm Fall Festival T-shirt and Free Parkingat the festival.
Admission is free with parking (regularly $10). Net proceeds from the 9th Annual Fall Festival benefit Maryhurst, a local non-profit organization that cares for abused and neglected children, and Foxhollow Farm’s Education Outreach programs.
The 2016 Fall Festival activities for the whole family, including:
- Hay Castle
- Obstacle Course
- Pumpkin picking, hay rides & pony rides
- Photo opportunities
- Carnival games
- Musical entertainment
- Squallis puppeteers
- Over 15 local food vendors
- New! BBQ & Brews area
Volunteers assist Festival guests as they participate in fun activities including the pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, silk dying, fish pond, bottle toss, mural boards, and more!
There are two shift options to choose from:
9:30am-2:30pm OR 2:00pm-7:00pm
You are welcome to volunteer for both shifts.

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
*Note: After registering, volunteers participating as a group from a local business will receive information regarding on-site orientation at your workplace and/or best-fit designation.

Description
For 165 years, Maryhurst has provided high-quality educational, community based and therapeutic services to those in our care. Maryhurst provides residential, in-home and community-based treatment programs for severly traumatized youth, most often victims of sexual, physical, and/or emotional abuse or neglect. Our agency is fully licensed as a child caring, child placement and adoption service provider in Kentucky, serving more than 600 children and families each year. We work hard to provide consistency, structure and love for children. It is because of this philosophy and the hard work of staff and volunteers that our programs are successful.
