Pathfinders assists young adults over age 17 in obtaining housing, learning job and life skills, and meeting their educational goals. Many youth in this program are moving from homelessness into their first apartment and need support, guidance, and assistance to make the transition a smooth one. Transition Coaches are matched with a young adult and work as a team with Housing First and Drop-In Center Case Managers to make the move a success!
Coaches should plan on a six month commitment of at least 4 hours a month.
To learn more about becoming a Transition Coach or to apply, contact Volunteer and Community Outreach Manager Jake Spence at jspence@pathfindersmke.org or (414) 988-6870.
