The Kentucky Center has over 500 active and friendly volunteers who contributed over 60,000 hours of service last year.
The Kentucky Center Volunteers are well-trained and knowledgeable about the Center and the events we have to offer. They are the face of The Kentucky Center to our local arts patrons, the first to greet them when they arrive for an event and the last face they see as they leave. Volunteers fill a variety of roles here at The Kentucky Center. These include ticket takers, ushers, greeters, tour guides, bus assistants, as well as manning our information desk and coat check, and providing important support for our administrative functions and Access Services Program.
New Volunteer Orientations are offered on an annual basis, usually in August each year. Interested individuals should apply to the Volunteer Program by visiting www.kentuckycenter.org/about/volunteers. The Manager of Volunteer Services will contact all applicants when orientation classes are being offered. For more information, contact the Manager of Volunteer Services at (502) 566-5168.
