Arts in CT, a nonprofit organization, is looking for volunteers to make phone calls to various companies in order to help us obtain corporate sponsorship so that we can raise funds to put on various artistic programs for underprivleged children!
To celebrate and give back during the holiday season (Thanksgiving, Christmas), Arts in CT is presenting two theaterical productions: Shrek the Musical, Jr. and Legally Blonde the Musical, Jr. Money obtained from sponsors and those who attend the event will be put towards the cost of the production as well as creating gift baskets and meals for the children of the Boys and Girls Village in Milford, as well as those housed in foster care families.
We need your help to bring the arts and the loving spirit of the holidays to children!
Arts in CT’s mission is to inspire, enrich, and support our local communities through delivering quality arts programs. Arts in CT has over 65 different creative programs to offer throughout the state of Connecticut, including within our hometown of Milford. We bring Connecticut’s professional artists to area schools, community centers, daycare centers, senior centers, local restaurants, and more in all 8 counties.
We have a three fold mission: teach arts integration in schools using the National Arts Standards, help artists remain employed, and help students make the connection between the arts and viable careers. Any perceived barriers to artistic jobs will be eliminated through the use of comprehensive workshops and classes, helping the state’s most vulnerable students achieve their goal of becoming creative professionals.
Arts in CT’s vision is to see art in all forms of education, deleting all social and economic barriers, and empowering children to not allow anything to stop them from being the best artist possible.
With over 20 years of experience in the fields of community arts and educational development, we believe that each individual can excel to the fullest potential through creative learning and nurturing with the right guidance and instruction.

Arts in CT is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of underserved members of our community by supporting artists, educating students about the arts and community building.
Arts in CT is committed to working within under-resourced neighborhoods. We believe that art can be used to solve social problems and create positive change for people who need it most. We support professional artists who bring their talents and experiences to our community. We also work with educators to make art part of their curriculum.
We are proud to have been able to grow from a passion project into a real organization that can make a difference in people's lives!
