Outdoor Event

Event Coordinator - Getting out into the community is important for CHS because it helps us better understand the needs of our community and our clients. Additionally, it’s a great way to meet donors and those who are willing to volunteer. Event Coordinators assist in tabling events, outreach events, The Ritz Gala, and the Annual Toy Drive!

Positions Available: 5 Those who volunteer/intern for CHS are included in an exclusive CHS Volunteer Culture full of learning experiences, additional professional trainings, voluntary health programs, and first candidates for an internship for those seeking a Master level internship with CHS.

Hours Requested: Due to the one-on-one in-depth training that our Case Managers provide to interns, Children’s Home Society of FL asks for a two-semester (can include or not include summer) commitment of 8-10 hours a week. Interns are asked to work the same schedule through the entire semester as a way to learn about their assigned, individual families. The FVC is opened Tuesday-Friday 9am-7pm.
