Girls' Angle

A Math Collaboration is a special math event developed at Girls' Angle. Math Collaborations can be designed for groups of various sizes, ability levels, and grades. Math Collaborations can be held in person or online. Currently the online collaborations require significant input. We have created specifications for an online collaboration application so that future online collaborations will not require input from Girls' Angle staff.

We are looking for assistance in writing the online collaboration application. While there is no specific deadline, as soon as the application is complete we will increase our ability to offer online collaborations to more schools and other groups.

  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Java script / J query
  • pHp

  • Interface with Braintree payment processing (preferred)

About GIRLS ANGLE INC

Location:

Mission Statement

To foster and nurture girls' interest in mathematics and empower them to be able to tackle any field no matter the level of mathematical sophistication.

Description

Founded in 2007, we're a comprehensive approach to math education for girls run by mathematicians. At our club, girls work directly with our mentors who are mostly women on the math career path. Club attendees also meet professional women who use math in their work. We publish a bimonthly math magazine for K12 students that serves as a bridge between students and mathematicians. We offer other services such as our Math Collaborations, which are fully collaborative, mathematically intense alternatives to the math competition. We invite all girls in grades 5-12 to join regardless of perceived math ability level.
