About

As a Victim Advocate, the primary duty would be to provide and connect the victimized individuals to appropriate services within the organization and linkages in the community. Direct services the volunteer will be providing are crisis intervention, legal advocacy, criminal justice support, Victim's Compensation assistance, emergency assistance and referrals.

As a victim advocate we are also looking for individuals who are interested on doing outreach. Outreach involves attending resource fairs, special events, trainings, school fairs, etc. This is an opportunity to network, build connections, and promote the program to better serve the LGBTQ community
