We need 6 volunteers to help out at EZRA's annual Kidney Mobile Screening Day. Every year we offer free kidney and diabetes testing to our clients and community, but we need your help!

Volunteers will be helping direct community members inside as they pass by EZRA, greeting and signing in attendees, and helping collect evaluations as people leave. Lunch will be provided.

When: Se[tember 11th from 9:20AM-2:00PM *let us know if you can't stay the whole time, and we'll put you on the short shift to be dismissed at 12:00!

Volunteers will not be responsible for the screening itself and will not be handling any urine samples or relaying medical information.

Description

EZRA's services strive to alleviate homelessness, hunger, unemployment and other self-sufficiency barriers. In addition, EZRA offers social activities and holiday celebrations to ensure that Jews who live in poverty remain actively connected to their heritage. EZRA is funded through the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago and is administered by Jewish Community Center of Chicago.
