Faxon School students working with their robot

Many people see the word "robotics" and think that they aren't qualified to help because they aren't engineers or programmers. All it takes to volunteer for robotics is a desire to help kids grow!

Front Porch Alliance provides FIRST Lego League Robotics programming to 5th and 6th grade studetns at Faxon Elementary. Using the FLL curriculum, and under the guidance of a seasoned FLL robotics coach, teams of volunteers guide students through the learning process. Robotics involves learning FLL Core Values, and a research project.

Should one of our teams qualify for the regional tournaments, that team and volunteers will continue through the end of January.
