ORGANIZATION: BOLD IDEA INC

Bold Idea, a Dallas-based nonprofit that mentors young coders, is seeking an experienced grant writer to serve in a volunteer capacity. Working within a larger fund development team, the person will support the grant submission process by assembling proposals and grant requests, as well as researching prospects.


Requirements:

  • College degree, preferred

  • Knowledge of grant application process & writing of proposals

  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills

  • Self-motivated, reliable, organized and thorough

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines for grant opportunities

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently

  • Available to meet with the Dallas fund development team in person on a periodic basis
