The general curriculum covers topics like Life skills, Puberty, Virginity, Healthy living, HIV transmission scenerios, STDs, Pregnancy, ABC (Abstinence, Being faithful and Condom use) method, HIV/AIDS Stigma, etc.

In addition to HIV/AIDS education, volunteers are also free to get involved in any of our organization projects including; community outreach, HIV counseling and testing, children immunization, general community/public health education, orphan support activities, fundraising, among others. Team-work is highly emphasized at RWEYOWA, and international volunteers work in close collaboration with our local staff/volunteers. Both short and long term volunteers are welcome.

A certificate of volunteering is offered at the end of the volunteer period as a token of appreciation for the voluntary service offered to the organization and community.
